Common misconceptions about online interior design

Are you unsure if our online interior design service is for you? This blog addresses some of the common misconceptions.

The service will be impersonal

  • Our design process is collaborative. We work along side each other throughout the entire process.

  • You'll have the opportunity to provide feedback on your design and you will always be kept up to date with how your project is progressing.

  • Our process allows you to have a hands on approach. Not only will you learn along the way but you’ll also have the expertise and guidance to ensure everything runs smoothly.

The design won't be personalised

  • There is a misconception that EDesigns are 'pre-made' designs. This is definitely not the case, all our designs are specifically tailored to you.

  • We have a 60 minute Design Consult via video at the beginning of the process to discuss all your project requirements and ensure that the design incorporates your individual style and preferences.

  • At the end of the process, you will receive a personalised Design Guide that is your step-by-step guide to bring your design to life.

It's only for projects with big budgets

  • Online interior design is a great option if you want to redesign one room at a time or only require help with certain elements of your space. By doing some of the legwork yourself (measurements, orders and installation), you will make big savings on services that you would traditionally pay the designer for.

  • Our packages are tailored to suit your needs whether it’s a simple refresh, a more involved restyle, or a full refurbishment.

It's only for small spaces

  • We can help you design spaces of any size, from entryways to master bedrooms, from small apartments to larger homes.

  • Our space planning service will help to determine that your space is being used in the most efficient way, furniture placement is correct and there is a cohesive and functional layout.

  • This will help you visualise how the specific design choices will impact the overall look and feel of your space.
